Short Bio
Gábor Antal is a research assistant at the Institute of Economics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and a PhD student at the Central European University. His dissertation topic is earnings inequality and the effects of employer characteristics on wages. His Master degree in Economics is from the Corvinus University of Budapest where he graduated in 2004 with a major in Economic Policy. He has also been affiliated with the CEU Labor Project since 2005 as a research assistant. Before his PhD studies, he worked for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. As a visiting student he spent six months at the University of Passau, Germany and also six months at the Upjohn Institute for Employment Research in Michigan, US.
